Hello! We’re Shaku. Shakera Tayub, our founder and creator, is the heart and soul behind everything we do at Shaku. Quite literally—she’s designed everything in Shaku.
Shaku started as a dream, one that Shakera — or affectionately, Shaku — held close. From a young age, she loved to draw and still does with unbridled passion. There’s a story she often shares about her school days in India: with just five pencil colours—because times were tough—she created such a stunning piece of art that she won a competition! That little girl with a dream grew into a woman with grit and
determination, and today, her dream is a thriving reality.
Two years later, here we are, introducing new product ranges while refining our core offerings. Each design you see is entirely Shakera’s work—no AI, no collaborators—just pure Shakera, or as we like to say, pure Shaku. We put our products through rigorous testing, ensuring they’re not just beautiful but worth every penny. Our loyal customers are steadily learning who we are and why our products stand out.
